Hey, You!
I want to write something smart and interesting for you to feel attracted to my blog, but man have I been overthinking it.
Ok, fuck it.
I write. Sometimes I don’t share what I write. Lately, I have been reminding myself that my journey is unique and could inspire others that are interested in similar paths.
And what is that unique journey that anyone should be inspired to follow?
Maybe it’s nothing unique or extraordinary but I have lived in a couple of places far from home, studied a couple of subjects close to my heart, soaked into the books of some pretty powerful African writers, and made some very uncommon choices in life.
Sometimes I think I am just but a tiny insect in the entire universe of animals. But, I often feel like in my tininess lies other tiny humans who are looking for species of their own to feel like they belong.
